february's full moon.....

finally took the tripod out to take full pix.....took 'dox or STFU' pix with tablet, as camera as attached to tripod, hence why it's a crappy pix....don't really take pix with my tablet....and yep, i'll plop a tripod down in the intersection of robinette and luedella.....IDGAF.....

the only 'plus' to using the tripod was i could get the moon centered way more easily....otherwise, nothing else was different....so i believe i will use it again for full moon shots or when i want to get something centered 'quickly' and not take dozens of pix attempting to do so.....

I didn't realize Akron was paved with cobbles; that's a nice touch. NYC was originally all cobbled—actually, before that it was all dirt roads, which is why some of the older buildings still have cast-iron boot scrapers at the front gate.

Of course a tripod is the best way to hold the camera steady; I never have a tripod with me, although I usually have my camera—not just my iPhone—with me. When I need to brace my camera, I usually have to use a wall or similar stationary object.

Very few streets still have bricks. We are very protective of our brick streets and I gotta get East Ohio Gas out here to fucking replace some black top they used and some fucking red cement they used in leiu of bricks in 2012---that is now crumbling!! The bricks aren't crumbling and the streets are 100 years old!! They're built to last!!

Robinette, Luedella, Dayton Place are bricked in my immediate area; then part of Marview a couple blocks up. They really should have kept the brick cuz they last, it's easy to pull up to work on pipes, etc and no pot holes!!

I just pushed the button and it took the photo immediately. So I'm gonna say none.

As usual, it was overcast here, so no moon.

Thanks!! The next night the moon actually had a nice orangish glow coming up but I would have had to walk over to Columbia to take a pix and that was a negative on that. Had I seen it first coming up, I could have got a pix at the same place I took this one; but I didn't pay attention til it was too far up. Oh well, there'll be another one next month! :)
